Stephen Colbert finds a new stage with ‘Only in Monroe’ special on public access TV after ‘Late Show’ finale

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. – Stephen Colbert may be done with late nights, but he’s not done performing.

After the first night without “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Colbert turned up with a new gig Friday, hosting a one-hour special called “Only in Monroe” on Monroe County’s public access channel.

The special blended Colbert’s humor with a Metro Detroit feel, featuring Jack White, Jeff Daniels and Eminem.
