Electronic music festival coming to Macomb County -- what to know

Mount Clemens to host first electronic music festival

Over the weekend, thousands of people flooded Hart Plaza to enjoy Movement—Detroit’s biggest electronic music festival.

It’s three days of techno with more than 100 acts performing across six stages.

But tickets weren’t cheap, with general admission Friday starting at $227 and costing even more for multiple days or VIP passes.

Many fans say it’s well worth it, but for others, it’s just not in the budget.

In Macomb County, a new music festival is coming this summer.

It’s going to be the first-ever Mount Clemens Electronic Music Festival.

Jeff Neimann from Ardis Music and Laura Kropp, mayor of Mount Clemens, joined Local 4 Live to talk more about the festival.
