HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 41-year-old Huron Township man died after a motorcycle crash, according to the Huron Township Department of Public Safety.
The crash occurred on Thursday (June 25) around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of Bell Road and Waltz Road.

Responding officers found the motorcycle driver suffering from what appeared to be significant injuries.
First responders treated the man at the scene before he was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Officials said the initial findings indicate speed may have been a contributing factor.
Police said the driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Drugs and alcohol are not initially believed to have played a role.
The Huron Township Department of Public Safety expressed condolences to the man’s family.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family,” the department said. “We are incredibly sorry for their loss.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
