Michigan State Police is competing in the 13th annual American Association of State Troopers’ “Best Looking Cruiser Contest,” and voting is now open.

State Police is asking the public for support to help the “Blue Goose” secure the top spot in 2026. In 2025, Michigan State Police finished second.

Voting is now open through Monday, July 13, at 12 p.m. People can cast their vote by visiting SurveyMonkey, the AAST Facebook page or the official website at StateTroopers.org.

The top 13 photos voted by the public will be featured in the 2027 “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers” wall calendar, with the first-place winner earning the cover spot.

Calendars will be available for purchase beginning in October at StateTroopers.org. Proceeds from the calendar sales will benefit the AAST Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers.
