DETROIT – A child was taken to a hospital after suffering a graze wound to the hand that police believe was self-inflicted.
Police said the incident occurred around 10 p.m. Thursday (July 2) in the 10200 block of Harvard Road.
The child was transported to a Metro Detroit hospital for treatment.
Police said the injury is believed to be self-inflicted.
The department’s Child Abuse Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No further details were immediately released.
