DETROIT – One of the three men charged in connection with the 2025 shooting death of 6-year-old Rylee Love has pleaded guilty to murder.
Demontrel Benard Wilson, 30, Deonate Cornealous Cherry, 28, and Terrance Jaland Blue, 28, were charged with multiple felony counts, including conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, first-degree murder, and conspiracy to discharge firearms from a vehicle causing death.

The shooting happened on July 27 just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Anglin Street and Stender Avenue.
When officers responded to the shooting, they were flagged down by relatives from a home on Anglin Street, saying a child was struck with a stray bullet.
Love was found in a bedroom of the home with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
About a month later, Wilson, Cherry and Blue were charged.
On July 21, Cherry pleaded guilty to second-degree murder with a sentence agreement of 20 to 40 years in prison.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 21 at 1 p.m.
