PONTIAC, Mich. – Human remains were found near the Oakland County Circuit Court in Pontiac Tuesday morning.
The remains were found just after 10 a.m. on July 28 in a wooded area south of the Oakland County Circuit Court building.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the remains appear to be in an advanced state of decomposition. A patient identification bracelet was found, and detectives are working to find the originating medical facility.
While investigators are working to identify the remains, they can confirm the remains belong to a man.
The investigation is ongoing.
