What is the best bowling alley in Metro Detroit? The votes are in, and we have a winner!

Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township is the winner of this year’s Vote 4 The Best category for best bowling alley in Metro Detroit.

Here are the results for the top five:

1. Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township.
2. Plaza Lanes in Plymouth.
3. Bowlero Lanes & Lounge in Royal Oak.
4. Country Lanes in Farmington Hills.
5. Premier Lanes in New Baltimore.

This year’s Vote 4 The Best received more than 163,000 votes during the finalist phase, with Metro Detroiters supporting their favorite restaurants, venues, and local businesses in 80 different categories.

Our winner reveal begins Monday, Aug. 10.

Methodology

Fans nominated their favorite businesses from June 1 through June 14 -- one nomination in each category per person.

After the nomination period closed on June 14, we announced the finalists for each category at the end of the week -- on June 19.

Voting on finalists opened June 22 during our Ford Fireworks special. Fans voted in each category once per day until voting ended on July 20.

Winners are announced from Aug 10 through Aug. 21.
