Police seek person of interest in fatal shooting on Detroit’s east side

Police said the victim was a man in his 30s

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for the public’s help locating a person of interest in connection with a fatal shooting.

The incident occurred on Friday (Aug. 21) in the 19900 block of Revere Street at about 1:30 a.m.

Police said they found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Officials are seeking Branden Lamar Wilson, 32, of Detroit, as a person of interest in the case.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-5260.
