DETROIT – A 26-year-old man was shot and killed Monday in a dispute over a woman on Detroit's west side.
The shots were fired on Dearborn Street near I-75, police said.
Two young women got into a fistfight when two men got involved, police said.
A man drove up in a red truck, got out and got into a fistfight with one woman's boyfriend, police said. The man pulled out a gun and shot the other man one time in the back.
Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
When police arrived on the scene, the shooter was still standing there.
The victim did not have a weapon, police said.
