CHASE VIDEO: Orange County pursuit ends with vehicle tumbling off road

Two people are in custody after a high-speed pursuit in Orange County, California ended in a wild crash Monday night. The chase was caught on chopper video.

The footage shows a vehicle weaving in and around traffic at dangerously high speeds with the headlights off. As the driver attempts to exit on an off-ramp, he sideswipes another car and goes off the road, rolling over several times in a cloud of dust. The two people in the car then attempt to escape on foot before being apprehended by authorities.

According to KNBC, the California Highway Patrol took a man and a woman into custody shortly before 11 p.m.

The pursuit began after the vehicle was identified as being stolen.
