Now and then, it's time to clean out the closets, the attic, or the cupboards, and now it is time to empty the shelters! There is a big event happening this weekend to "Empty the Shelters" at the Michigan Humane Society and find hundreds of animals new forever homes.

All Michigan Humane Society locations are involved. Each of the participating animal's adoption fee will be reduced, dogs will be just $25, while felines and "small furries" will be free. Adoptions will still include the MHS adoption package (spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccines). There will be dogs, cats, small animals like rabbits, and even snakes available for adoption. It is happening this Saturday, October 12.

This week's "Pet of the Week" is Prince Eric, a 4-month-old Sheppard mix. He will probably grow to be around 50 pounds. The Mike Morse Law Firm will cover all the standard adoption fees for Prince Eric.

The Mike Morse Law Firm also wants to help you if you need legal help. Visit their website at 855mikewins.com or call the same, 855-MIKE-WINS.
