Muhammad Ali’s autographed trunks from iconic ‘Thrilla in Manila’ fight to go on auction

Trunks were worn by Ali during his fight against Joe Frazier in 1975

The trunks worn by Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer of all time, during his victory over “Smokin” Joe Frazier in the Thrilla in Manila are being auctioned.

Ali’s signature and an inscription written by a member of the champ’s team are on the trunks.

The last time the trunks were up for auction, 12 years ago, they sold for $150,000.

Sotheby’s expects a buyer to pay as much as six million dollars this time around.

Sotheby’s is accepting bids through Friday, April 12.
