The Tigers (2-1) lost their first game of the season, while the Indians (1-2) avoided being swept in the season opening series. The Indians scored four runs against Tigers reliever Daniel Norris in the seventh inning, including a two-run blast to left field by Jordan Luplow, to take the lead.
