Two of Moore’s teammates from WMU’s 2021 team signed undrafted free agent contracts in the days following the draft, while seven more received invitations to rookie minicamps. Caliendo was a five-year starter at WMU and earned First Team All-Mid-American Conference honors in 2020 and 2021, while taking home second team all-league honors in 2019. New Western Michigan AD Dan Bartholomae reveals vision of ‘comprehensive excellence’
In an introductory press conference at the Seelye Athletic Center, new WMU athletic director Dan Bartholomae stressed his desire to bring “comprehensive excellence” to Bronco athletics. Bartholomae used the term frequently throughout his press conference, and in addition to student-athlete success, he added engagement with alumni, fans and donors to his definition of comprehensive excellence. “Comprehensive excellence means that our student-athletes will leave this great university not only with their degrees, but also holistically prepared to pursue their passions in life. The restaurant recently moved out of its original South Howard location across from the Campus Pointe retail lot to a nearby space at 2730 W. Michigan Ave., the building that was once home a Wendy’s location. Roland Saleh is one of the “two fellas” behind the restaurant launched back in October 2013. The partners rented the South Howard Street location in 2013 from WMU, who owns the property and lots surrounding the building. While customers can expect to see a larger space when they first enter the new Two Fellas location, they should expect the same, familiar menu.
