Cat that vanished 15 years ago is reunited with owner
The Los Angeles man adopted her as a 2-month-old kitten in 2005. Brandy, a brown tabby, was reunited Monday afternoon with Charles, who adopted her as a 2-month-old kitten in 2005. Charles went on with his life. โShe basically weighed as much as when she was a kitten," Charles said.

Charles Rogers, former Michigan State star, Lions first-round pick, dies at 38
DETROIT โ Former Michigan State football star and Detroit Lions first-round pick Charles Rogers has died. Rogers, 38, was a Saginaw native who broke several receiving records while playing football at Michigan State University between 2001 and 2002. 2 overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2003 NFL Draft. Rogers was released by the Lions in 2006 following a string of failed drug tests and questions of work ethic. The Lions released a statement:โWe are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Charles Rogers.

Teenage Equestrian Star Dies After Falling From Horse
A rising teenage star in the equestrian world has died after falling from her horse while practicing at home in Great Britain. Iona Sclater, 15, was described as an "exceptionally talented and dedicated" rider by British Eventing, the sport's governing body that country. "Our thoughts are with Iona's friends and family, her dad Charles, mum Hetty and sisters Lara and Alicia, at this very difficult time," British Eventing said in a statement. In five seasons of competing with British Eventing, Sclater scored 33 top 10 results. A few days ago, the teen posted a photo of herself competing with a horse named Swatchy at the Frickley Park Horse Trials in South Yorkshire.
