After a tumultuous few months, Superintendent Rodriguez Broadnax has resigned from the Clintondale school district.

It was a tense night at Clintondale schools as the board decided the superintendent’s future with the district.

He has been accused of misspending the school district’s money and not having the credentials to get the job. On Thursday, the embattled Superintendent for the Clintondale School District in Macomb County sat down for a one-on-one to clear the air.

"The Board’s decision to recommend masks for our students and staff was based solely on the CDC’s return-to-school guidelines, which is not a health mandate."
