Recent high school graduate killed in Macomb County crash
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – A former Macomb Dakota student is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Clinton Township. Hundreds of people attended a candlelight vigil held in the parking lot of the Clinton Township Public Library on Monday night, according to WDIV-TV in Detroit. “He was a big deal before he played football, he was a big deal after he played football because he was an amazing person all around,” classmate Tyler Crane said, according to the TV station. According to the Clinton Township Police Department, Reed was driving a gray 2018 Audi eastbound on Cass Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle. Visitation set for Victoria Cartright, Dakota High student killed walking to school
Funeral arrangements are set for Victoria Cartright, the Dakota High School student tragically killed walking to school Friday. Cartright was hit by a car and killed by a fellow student while walking to school. She was honored Friday night during Dakota's high school football game. The Dakota High School community continues to mourn the tragic loss of their own. Outside the high school Saturday, fellow students, teachers and parents paused to remember Cartwright.
