His friend, Father Ioann Burdin has been fined for his sermons on the matter and has left active service, thinking about whether to stay in the Church as he faces a three-year prison sentence for a repeat offence.

MGMNothing can truly kill James Bond, but the COVID-19 pandemic certainly tried, delaying the release of No Time to Die—the MI6 agent’s 25th official feature-film outing—by a year and a half. In an unexpected twist, Bond’s latest boasts a trace of timely resonance, courtesy of a story that hinges on a nefarious plot to infect the world with a lethal contagion. What’s most surprising about Daniel Craig’s fifth and final go-round as 007, however, is its general lack of urgency or excitement. A wor

The official 007 Twitter account said late Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021 that the 25th installment in the franchise will now open on Oct. 8. Sean Connery, a lion of cinema whose roar went beyond Bond
FILE - This March 4, 1992 file photo shows actor Sean Connery during a news conference in Hamburg, Germany. Connery, considered by many to have been the best James Bond, has died aged 90, according to an announcement from his family. (AP Photo/Christian Eggers, File)Writing an appreciation of Sean Connery feels inevitably inadequate compared to experiencing the real thing. Connery’s Bond became etched as an icon of its era, one increasingly distant from today. That could be because the glint of mischief that accompanied nearly every Connery performance was so present in “The Last Crusade.” Connery always left you feeling if not shaken then very happily stirred.
James Bond film ‘No Time To Die’ pushed again, to 2021
The release of the James Bond film “No Time To Die” has been delayed again, this time to 2021, because of the effects of COVID-19 on the theatrical business. “No Time To Die” was originally supposed to open in April 2020 but was pushed back to Nov. 12 in the U.K. and Nov. 20 in the U.S. The Walt Disney Co. last week delayed the planned 2020 releases of a handful of major movies until 2021. They include Marvel’s “Black Widow” and Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story.” Universal delayed “Candyman” to next year. Some major releases are still planned for 2020.
2020 was already expected to be a weak year at the box office, coronavirus could mean 'cinematic disaster'
This weekend's box office results already started to show signs of what could be ahead. In 2018, box office receipts hit an all-time high of $11.9 billion in North America. But even before the coronavirus, analysts expected ticket sales in 2020 would be lower than 2019, despite a strong start to the year. Adjusting for leap day 2020, North American box office sales were trending up 3.7% from last year, from Jan. 1 through March 1, according to Comscore data. "I just think it's kind of a disaster for the second quarter," Doug Stone, president of Box Office Analyst, said.
cnbc.com'No Time to Die' box-office release delayed for coronavirus, but don't expect other Hollywood films to follow
MGMThe coronavirus outbreak may have pushed "No Time to Die" to trade its April box-office release in favor of a November one, but that doesn't mean other Hollywood blockbusters are going follow suit. MGM is only set to release five films this year, all but one of which is co-financed with another studio. Far and away, the 25th James Bond film is expected to be the company's biggest film of the year. More than 78% of the $881 million the previous James Bond film "Spectre" garnered at the global box office in 2015 came from international regions. Even if a studio wanted to move a film's release date, there is little flexibility in the movie release schedule for the rest of 2020.
