Kraft Heinz has announced the recall of 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry flavored juice due to contamination of the juice pouches. According to the Associated Press, the company issued the recall after receiving complaints about the taste of the juice. An investigation revealed the the juice was contaminated with a cleaning solution used on the food processing equipment used in the plant. The recall impacts cases with the “Best When Used By” date of June 25, 2023. The company says it is working with retailers to pull the impacted products off the shelf.

SAGINAW, MI — Passengers boarding Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) buses again will pay fares beginning in October, officials said. Later, the free rides were intended to help alleviate the financial woes of passengers impacted economically by the pandemic, officials said. When the fares return Saturday, Oct. 1, costs will remain lower than rate levels prior to the suspension, officials said. Paratransit rides will cost $2, down from $2.75; and 30-day mainline bus passes will cost $40, down from $60. Originally, STARS officials planned to reinstate the fares in September but delayed the move by one month.
