High wind warning issued for Metro Detroit, counties outside region
DETROIT – A high wind warning has been issued for Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne counties from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Additionally, the National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Sanilac County until 9 p.m. Sunday. You can expect sustained winds with lows between 20 to 30 mph. Wind gusts will be as high as 50 mph.
