Midland Mall auction postponed until March 28

MIDLAND, MI — The auction of the Midland Mall has been postponed. The online auction did not begin Monday, March 20, as originally scheduled. The 358,827-square-foot Midland Mall was built in 1991 and is located on nearly 33 acres at 6800 Eastman Ave. in Midland. JACKSON, MI – A Tropical Smoothie Café is expected to open in Jackson later this year. Tropical Smoothie Café, a fast, casual restaurant with more than 1,175 U.S. locations, features a variety of smoothies and foods for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s locating in a currently unfinished 1,400-square-foot building with a drive-thru next to Hobby Lobby in Jackson Crossing. MIDLAND, MI — Hobby Lobby is planning to open a new store in mid-Michigan. The big-box arts and crafts supplies retailer is joining the Midland Mall’s tenant lineup.
