Curt Schilling, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds Unlikely To Earn Spots In Baseball Hall Of Fame
(CBS Boston/CBS Local) — The Baseball Hall of Fame will announce its inductees for the class of 2021 on Tuesday evening. If that ends up being the case, then it will be another year without a call for Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and Curt Schilling. Schilling, Bonds and Clemens all have Hall-worthy resumes but remain out for different reasons. In the case of Bonds and Clemens, it’s association with performance-enhancing drugs that’s kept them out thus far. It’s significant for the trio of Schilling, Bonds and Clemens, though, as next year will mark their 10th and final year of eligibility for Hall of Fame votes.
