Big changes are coming to the campus of Michigan State University after a visiting college student was found dead in the Red Cedar River.

I got so many calls and emails from parents asking me to investigate campus security at Michigan State University after Brendan Santo disappeared.

The Michigan State University police said Sunday the medical examiner has positively identified the body found Friday as Brendan Santo based on dental records.

The body of a teen who went missing while visiting Michigan State University last October was recovered from a river on Friday after a planned search of that area was executed sooner than expected.

The search for missing 18-year-old Brendan Santo continued over the weekend with Michigan State University Police expanding its partnership with multiple agencies.

The Michigan State Police marine division spent hours searching the Red Cedar River on Tuesday in East Lansings.

Michigan State University police said an 18-year-old man, who is not a student at the university, has been missing in East Lansing since Friday, Oct. 29.
