‘Jeopardy!’ fans speak out on favorite host: Mayim Bialik or Ken Jennings?
Mayim Bialik is back as the “Jeopardy!” host, taking over for Ken Jennings on Monday, Jan. 31. Though, some fans blasted the switch on social, saying they prefer Jennings over Bialik. Bialik taking back hosting duties came days after Amy Schneider’s historic 40-day winning streak, and it was expected change. “No disrespect to Mayim Bialik, but I hope Ken Jennings gets the full time hosting job on Jeopardy. “I love Jeopardy and I wish Mayim Bialik was the permanent host, three cheers for Mayim,” one user tweeted.

Now, as The Ringer continues to report, it turns out that there’s another part of Richards’ professional career that has thrown his new position in turmoil (or, rather out the window). See, Richards was previously the host of a podcast called “The Randumb Show” from 2013 to 2014, during which he made a few unsavory comments towards women. When his cohost, for example, stated how she took photos of herself when she thought she looked cute, Richards’ response was, “Like booby pictures?” He also asked whether she and his female assistant ever took nudes. Longtime host Trebek died Nov. 8, 2020, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The show used a series of guest hosts starting in January after the episodes taped by Trebek were done airing.

A graduate of Livonia Churchill High School, she received her undergrad degree from Michigan State University in Telecommunication Information Studies and Media. After USC, Portwood-Stacer taught Media Studies at New York University and actually taught the first course on social media in the department of Media, Culture and Communication. She has a book coming out in July called “The Book Proposal Book: A Guide for Scholarly Authors,” which is a handbook that helps people write a book proposal. “You can’t get pasties out here or anywhere else really,” Portwood-Stacer told MLive.
