Ohtani is the fourth Angel to be named MVP joining Don Baylor (1979), Vladimir Guerrero (2004) and Trout (2014, 2016 and 2019). He’s the first son of a former MVP winner to receive an MVP vote. Harper is the 12th player to win NL MVP more than once.
