NEW YORK Naya Rivera, a singer and actress who played a gay cheerleader on the hit TV musical comedy Glee, was found dead Monday in a Southern California lake. What a force you were, wrote Glee co-star Jane Lynch on Twitter. She is survived by her parents, Yolanda and George; a younger brother, Mychal; a sister, Nickayla; and her 4-year-old son. Naya Rivera was a fierce talent with so much more to do and this is such a terrible tragedy. In the preface to her autobiography, Rivera wrote that motherhood had changed her life and given it perspective.

Host Tati Amare talked to Derek Hough, a judge from World of Dance, about how dance is helping people through tough times. Each season the World of Dance competition heats up with even more impressive dancers. Derek says this leads him to believe that dance is ever evolving and getting better. Because World of Dance is open to all ages and performers the show gets amazingly talented dancers from everywhere. Season 4 of World of Dance premieres Tuesday, May 26th at 10 p.m. on Local 4.

DETROIT - Contemporary Motown artist Ne-Yo will join the Temptations, Martha Reeves and others from the label's classic era during a concert marking the 60th anniversary of the recording company. The Motown Museum has set Sept. 22 for Hitsville Honors: Celebrating Berry Gordy & 60 Years of Motown at Detroit's Orchestra Hall.
