OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The I-75 corridor in south Oakland County is dramatically changing with new twists and turns as the construction winds down. OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) released a video to update the status of the I-75 modernization project in Oakland County. TROY, Mich. If you were a member of the class of 2020 you could get a free dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. In Troy, 14 Mile was a parking lot -- with traffic backing up onto I-75 for hours. The store asked former students to bring their cap and gown and identification to prove that they were a graduating senior. Students came from all over Metro Detroit after missing out on all the traditional festivities like prom and graduation. Tens of thousands of donuts went out the door and the store had a line until they closed at 10 p.m.

FERNDALE, Mich. Axel Gerlich took his very first steps thanks to the robotics team at Avondale Middle School. When the COVID-19 outbreak threatened the project, two people stepped up to finish the project. Eileen Hohner, Axels therapist, said his new mobility kicks his progress into high gear and opens up new possibilities for learning. You can watch Paula Tutmans full story above.

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Police are investigating a violent confrontation that happened at a Rochester Hills restaurant Saturday morning at about 2:45 a.m. According to authorities, an Oakland County Sheriff’s deputy observed a potential disturbance inside the Ram’s Horn Restaurant on Rochester Road. Police said inside the restaurant was a physical fight and one of the men involved was armed with a knife. Police said the fight started when a drunk man vomited in a bucket at a table. A man from another table reportedly took out a large pocket-knife, approached the table and requested one of the men at the table do something about the vomiting man.
