Concerns about COVID-19 cases have had many parents rethink sending their kids to camp during the pandemic. This time around, those feelings appear to be changing.

The mental health of young people scrolling through social media is in the national spotlight again.

As we’re all getting ready to gather around the dinner table Thursday to give thanks and reflect on our blessings, parents say children right now just aren’t as thankful as they ought to be.

A poll conducted by the University of Michigan found that 25 percent of parents say their children or teens participated in fall and winter sports.

Many public health experts have warned that it’s especially important to get a flu shot this year because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, even if you don’t usually get on. One in three said they plan to skip the flu shot for their children. The survey found only two-thirds of parents plan to get their children vaccinated for the flu. the flu shot is important. “Flu vaccine isn’t just for today or the month of September,” Clark said.

DETROIT – Police are looking for a missing 27-year-old woman who was last seen Friday. According to authorities, Sarah Clark was last seen at about 12:15 a.m. Friday at her home in the 500 block of Chene Street. Police said her family is concerned because Clark received upsetting news and may try to harm herself. Clark was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a red shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
