DETROIT โ The people behind Detroitโs โdriftingโ scene, where drivers do donuts in front of a crowd, are explaining a new video in which fire is added to the equation. In the video, skid marks are ignited as a driver does a figure eight. The people involved said it was meant as a tribute to a lost friend -- but itโs still illegal. DETROIT โ A stunt-driving meetup called โSunday Fundayโ was held on private property for the second straight week. The event is drawing new concerns Monday night after someone in the crowd was hit by a stunt driver. The event was moved to private property with the blessing of Detroit Police Chief James Craig. Detroit police said the man who was hit was not hurt and the event stopped for more than a half an hour. My motto right now is โCali started it and Detroit is going to finish it.โโ
Man accused of donut stunt on I-94 in Detroit arraigned on charges
DETROIT โ An Allen Park man was arraigned Tuesday on charges in connection with a donut stunt that blocked traffic on I-94 last month.
