Washtenaw County wants to identify environmental concerns with new survey
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- Residents with natural resource and environmental concerns can be a part of a survey. The Washtenaw County Conservation District conducts a resource assessment survey every five years to identify resource and environmental concerns in Washtenaw County, how residents use WCCD, and how WCCD can best assist residents, officials saidWashtenaw County residents approved a .02 millage, 6-year levy in 2020, meaning that $2 to every $100,000 taxable property assessed value goes to the WCCD, officials said. A random selection of 6,000 residents across Washtenaw County will receive a hard copy in the mail with a link to the survey, officials said. Respondents can choose to provide their contact information for a chance to win one of ten $100 Visa gift cards. Anyone who might receive multiple invitations is asked to take the survey only once.
