2 women killed in crash at Joy Road, Trinity Street in Detroit

Vehicle strikes pole, killing 2 people

DETROIT – Two women were killed Monday morning when their vehicle struck a utility pole at Joy Road and Trinity Street in Detroit.

Police said the women were traveling in a 2005 Saab when the vehicle left the road and hit the pole. It’s unclear what caused this deadly crash.

No other injuries have been reported.

It remains under investigation.
