Traffic backed up on I-275 at Ford Road due to crash

A crash had traffic backed up for miles along northbound I-275 near Ford Road in Canton Township on Wednesday morning.
MDOT reported the freeway was closed around 8:45 a.m., and MDOT traffic cameras show a near complete stoppage along northbound lanes. MDOT said around 9:45 a.m. that the crash was cleared.
No information is available on the crash.
