New lawsuit alleges sexual and physical abuse at now-closed Detroit Behavioral Institute

A lawsuit filed Monday, April 20, 2026, accuses a supervisor at the now-closed Detroit Behavioral Institute of sexually and physically abusing a 12-year-old patient, and claims others were victimized as well.
