Coast Guard medevacs man after sailboat runs aground in Lake Huron

A 62-year-old man was medevaced from his 32-foot sailing vessel after it ran aground on Lake Huron, south of Calcite, Michigan. The Coast Guard responded to his mayday call and, after the vessel drifted into shallow water and the man sustained an injury, coordinated a rescue using a helicopter.
