Black Rock Bar & Grill
Have you ever tried a hot dog wrapped in pizza dough? Placing third on the list of best steakhouses in Detroit and serving this unique menu item is Black Rock Bar and Grill.
After opening a few years ago in Hartland, Michigan, Black Rock Bar says it offers Australian-style Rock cooking, a first in Livingston County.
Besides steak, Black Rock says it also offers a variety of seafood and chicken dishes, pastas, burgers, salads and more.
Local 4 viewers like Lisa think the idea of cooking on a 755 degree rock is a cool idea.
"My favorites, other than the house sirloin, are the french onion soup, fried asparagus, triple cheese bread and granola apple salad," said Lisa.

Mr. Paul's Chophouse
For over 43 years, Mr. Paul's Chophouse says it has been serving guests in Roseville, Michigan.
Placing second on the list of best steakhouses in Metro Detroit, Mr. Paul's Chophouse says caesar salads, chateaubriand steaks, and cherries jubilee are its signature items.
"I've been going to Mr. Pauls since I was a teen. That was forty years ago," said Mark, who voted in this year's contest. "They still have the best caesar salad around, made right at table."

Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse
Topping the list of best steakhouses in the Detroit area is Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse in Northville Township.
According to Gaucho, the steakhouse is Michigan's only four-star authentic Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse. The restaurant says it also provides unlimited servings of 16 different cuts of meat, while offering numerous side dishes, salad bar and shrimp.
"Gaucho's is one of the best steakhouses," said Sharia. "I love the selection of meats and great service."
