DETROIT – Clouds will increase today with highs trending about 20 degrees below average, in the low to mid-teens.
Snow this week
Light snowfall chances return Wednesday night into Thursday morning. This system will lack moisture leading to accumulations of only an inch or less.
Looking ahead
High temperatures remain below average with a slow warm-up through the remainder of the week. Daytime highs on Thursday and Friday will be in the 20s. A wedge of warmer air may arrive Sunday bringing the opportunity for daytime highs to climb closer to average, just above freezing.
