4Warn Weather – Rain showers and breezy winds move into the region on Wednesday, the middle of the week; first rain/snow chances arrive by the weekend.
Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy skies. Low: 45.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy skies, a chance of rain showers. High: 61. Winds gusting as high as 35 MPH throughout the day.
Wednesday night: Decreasing clouds, skies becoming mainly clear. Cold temperatures. Low: 33.
Thursday: Partly cloudy skies. High: 52.

- First rain/snow chances arrive by Sunday night.
After we started the day with some sunshine, we have brought cloud cover into the forecast throughout the late afternoon and into the end of the evening tonight. We will keep the cloud cover around, but remain dry overnight and into Wednesday.
Overnight lows are dropping into the mid-40s by early Wednesday morning.
As we work through the middle of the week, we will watch a cold front roll through the region on Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening.
This frontal boundary will not have much moisture to work with, but we will keep the chance of some rain showers in the forecast, and it will also be breezy throughout the day.
Expect winds to gust up to 30 to 35 miles an hour throughout the day, so if you have any inflatables outside, or even have started getting those holiday decorations up early, you’ll want to keep an eye on them on Wednesday.
High temperatures above average, reaching the lower 60s by Wednesday afternoon.
Once that frontal boundary moves through, high pressure builds back in quickly and will dry us out, looking ahead to Thursday.
High temperatures running about 10° cooler, into the low end of the 50s by Thursday afternoon.
We have a few more chances for rain, and even our first chance of a few snowflakes working into the forecast as we look ahead into the upcoming weekend.
Our next chance of rain moves in throughout the day on Friday, then another chance of rain moves in late Saturday night and into the end of the weekend on Sunday.
As that second frontal boundary moves through by the end of the weekend, it will bring a reinforcing shot of much colder air.
And with some moisture leftover, as that frontal boundary pulls off to the east, rain showers will change over to a mix of rain and snow showers late Sunday night.
Overnight lows Sunday night into Monday morning will fall into the upper 20s.
Drier weather builds back into the region, looking ahead into the start of next week. Mostly sunny skies are expected on Monday.
High temperatures will remain below average, into the upper 30s by Monday afternoon, before warming into the 40s. Looking ahead to Tuesday, a mixture of sunshine and clouds is expected.
