DETROIT – We are still holding on to this blast of winter, but relief is in sight.
Bundle up again today as we start with wind chills in the teens and those feels-like temperatures likely won’t rise out of the 20s.
It will be blustery with wind gusts near 30 mph today. We could see a few light flurries or even a cold light drizzle later today and tonight. No accumulation is expected.
Temperatures warm Wednesday into the weekend. We could see a few sprinkles before daybreak on Wednesday before clouds break later in the day with highs in the 40s on Wednesday.
By Thursday and Friday, we will rise into the seasonal low 50s. Sunshine returns for the second half of the week. We rise into the mid-50s to near 60 with rain chances building late Saturday into early Sunday. The weekend will not be a washout.
If you are looking to rake the leaves or hang the holiday lights, the first part of Saturday looks dry. Even if we dry out Sunday, it will be windier.
