DETROIT – Light snow this morning may bring some slick spots to the morning commute. The snow pushes in from the west and arrives mid-late morning, with a dusting to perhaps half an inch of accumulation by the time the snow tapers off early afternoon.
Below average temperatures persist through most of the week, although not quite as brutal as last week. Highs will be in the 20s through Thursday. We rise to more seasonal low 30s on Friday. However, it comes with a high chance for accumulating snow. As it stands right now, the snow will likely arrive Thursday night into Friday with a decent chance of at least an inch of snowfall.
Conditions turn windy through the weekend as temperatures fall back into the teens with overnight lows around zero.
