Frost Advisory in effect for parts of SE Michigan overnight into Tuesday morning

4Warn Weather – Frost is likely across Southeast Michigan Monday night.

The Detroit National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw, Wayne, Livingston, Oakland, and Genesee counties from midnight tonight until 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Temperatures in these areas will fall to the low 30s overnight.

A Frost Advisory will be in effect Monday night for the counties highlighted in blue (WDIV)

A Freeze Warning will be in effect for Macomb, St. Clair, Sanilac, and Lapeer counties from midnight tonight until 8 a.m. Tuesday.

These locations could see overnight temperatures as low as the mid 20s.

Frost and freeze conditions can damage or kill crops and sensitive vegetation.

You’ll want to cover your plants or bring them inside.

Winds pick up Tuesday from the south, helping us warm to around 60° in the afternoon.

Rain develops midday Tuesday with the chance of hearing a few rumbles of thunder. Severe weather is not expected. Rain chances will carry into the late-night hours.
