Tornado warning expires in Sanilac County

SANILAC COUNTY, Mich. – The tornado warning in Sanilac County has expired.

The National Weather Service issued the tornado warning at 6:49 p.m. It expired at 7:30 p.m.

Sanilac County was already under a severe thunderstorm warning, and a storm capable of producing a tornado was located near Argyle, seven miles east of Cass City.

That storm was moving east at 40 mph.

Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter were among the possible risks, as well as flying debris.
