Dry and pleasant weather will continue across Southeast Michigan through the middle of the week, with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s.
Dense fog is possible this morning and again Tuesday morning, especially in areas with clear skies and light winds. Sunshine will help the fog burn off quickly after daybreak, giving way to a mostly sunny and pleasant afternoon.
The dry stretch continues through Wednesday, but rain chances increase during the latter half of the week as the next weather system moves in. Cooler air will follow, with temperatures hovering on either side of 70 degrees Thursday and Friday.
A drier, cooler fall weekend is then ahead. Highs will only reach the low to mid-60s with a mix of sunshine and clouds.
