Staying stylish in the cold

The snowy weather comes with salt on the ground and slush that can ruin your clothes. Lifestyle editor Jon Jordan appeared on “Live In The D” to give some tips on how to wear what you want during this season, while preventing damage to your wardrobe. From cashmere scarves to large winter coats, there are home hacks you can follow.

“You know what’s great for cashmere? Baby Shampoo. You wash your cashmere and then instead of wringing it, you roll it on a towel,” said Jon Jordan.

Jon also recommended:

• Using dryer balls when drying puffer vests and coats 
• Using white toothpaste to clean white soles on shoes 
• Using club soda and white vinegar to get out salt stains on suede
