INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 13-year-old girl was killed Tuesday during a snowmobile accident in Oakland County, deputies said.
Police said they received a call at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday about an incident on Whipple Lake Road at North Eston Road in Independence Township.
The 13-year-old girl was riding as a passenger on a snowmobile at the time of the accident, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials are investigating the crash.
