3 wanted in connection with Detroit carjacking

Police are searching for three people wanted in connection with a carjacking that happened on the city's west side.

At 2:55 a.m. Sept. 28, in the 13500 block of Plymouth Road in Detroit, the first carjacker entered the parking lot of a local gas station driving a silver Ford Taurus, police say. On surveillance video, all three carjackers can be seen waiting inside the vehicle for the victims to exit the gas station.

Mark Taylor suffered burns over half his body while fighting a fire at an abandoned home last week. Taylor is known as a man who helps others, and now that help is coming back around for him.

Double shooting

There is brand-new information about a double shooting involving a security guard at a Detroit grocery store. That security guard is in police custody, awaiting charges. 

"She's going to be fine. I guess they're doing surgery and all," said D.J. Forbes, a cousin of one of the victims.
