Coronavirus concerns bring big changes to nursing homes, retirement villages
DETROIT – Michigan officials confirmed the first two cases of coronavirus in the state late Tuesday night. The two cases are in Oakland and Wayne counties.
Health officials said most people who contract the virus only see mild to moderate effects. People who are elderly or have underlying health conditions are most at risk.
The risk to the elderly could mean big changes at nursing homes and retirement villages.
