DETROIT – Two police officers were taken to a hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Detroit’s west side.
Police were driving on West Chicago when a driver blew a stop sign and hit their car. The cruiser spun, hit a tree, caught fire and now is totaled.

The officers are expected to be OK. The driver fled the scene in a white or tan Nissan Pathfinder.
