Police are investigating after a 4-year-old child was found dead in northern Oakland County on Sunday. The cause of death is currently unknown.

HOLLY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police troopers have opened an investigation in Holly Township after a 3-year-old child was found dead Sunday.

The incident happened at the Groveland Manor mobile home park off Dixie Highway.

Police said the mother’s boyfriend has been taken into custody. No additional details have been released.

More information is expected to be made public on Monday.
