Canton police car involved in rollover crash while responding to rollover crash

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Canton Township police car was involved in a rollover crash Thursday morning while responding to the scene of another rollover crash, according to authorities.

Officials said the police vehicle was heading to the scene of a rollover crash on I-275 when it crashed around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Ford and Haggerty roads.

Two other vehicles were involved in the crash with the police car, authorities said.

Minor injuries were reported for the people involved, police said.

Michigan State Police troopers are handling the investigation.
